Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Temporary

Job Summary

Fox Powersports (Grand Rapids) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our warehouse team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This role involves assisting with the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, and supporting general warehouse operations.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards.
• Label packages accurately and ensure all necessary documentation is included.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed).
• Maintain clean and organized shipping and receiving areas.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
• Communicate with supervisors or vendors about any shipment discrepancies.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience recommended; on-the-job training provided.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Forklift certification a plus (but not required at entry level).

• Warehouse setting with potential exposure to varying temperatures.
• May require occasional overtime during busy shipping periods.
