Job Overview

Fairview is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join the Emergency Medicine Department at M Health Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN.

• Join a team of 15 Physicians and 7 APRNs/PAs
• FTE: 0.7-1.0
• Fairview Lakes Medical Center is a 65 licensed bed facility and 24 bed ED
• Level IV Trauma Center
• Department sees an average of 77 patients per day
• Annual Emergency Department volumes: 28,000
• Approximately 15% of the Emergency Department visits are pediatrics
• Physician shift times are 8-10 hours during the week and 10-12 hours on weekends.
• APRNs/PAs Coverage 10a-8p most days
• Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME Emergency Medicine training program
• BC/BE with American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association
• Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice licensure
• Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges

The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions with the same min/max are flat rate jobs based on 1.0 FTE. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
