Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

Job Overview

We are seeking an occupational therapist to join our outpatient rehab team at M Health Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming!

The clinic is a multidisciplinary team of occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech language pathology services; the patient population is general practice with both pediatrics and adults, with pediatric patients primary in the caseload. Preferred candidate will have feeding program experience, but where skills are limited, a desire to train is desired. Occasional inpatient adult care is needed for rural hospital setting to support OT evaluation and discharge planning decisions.

In collaboration with patients and families, the occupational therapist is responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of patient care within scope of practice. This includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, planning, intervention and establishing outcomes.

• FTE: 1.0, authorized for 80 hours per pay period.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, with occasional weekend inpatient coverage.

Fairview Rehabilitation offers a range of services that serve patients across 10 acute-care hospitals, 3 post-acute settings and 70 outpatient adult and pediatric therapy clinics. • The occupational therapist partners with the patient and family while performing the Evaluation/Re-evaluation
• Gathers pertinent data
