Regulatory Compliance Specialist will be able to complete and manage state, federal & county permits. Including but not limited to Colorado Energy and Carbon Management Commission (previously known as Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission), Forms: 2/2A/2B/2C, 4, 5/5A (APD and sundries) and subsequent additional filings as required. Collect required data to ensure accuracy and timely submittals of regulatory forms for Ardor’s existing Clients.

Work directly with Ardor’s Clients to assist in compiling data to submit accurate & timely reports to ECMC and other regulatory agencies (WY, ND, UT & MT). Assist in tasks and/or help manage city or county permitting (WOGLA or other counties requirements, as applicable).

Stay informed of rule or regulatory changes at federal, state, and applicable county level for Ardor’s Client base. Responsible for providing regulatory compliance and administrative support as needed. Monitor and communicate with Client’s regarding upcoming operations and required filing dates, as well as prepare associated reports as requested, or driven by regulation or rule.

Maintain internal database to identify upcoming regulatory requirements for continuing at the Federal, State and county level as required by rule or regulation. Maintain associated well records electronically and paper files as required by rule/regulation.

Establish and help foster positive relationships with city, state, tribal, county, and federal governmental regulatory personnel as required. Good relationship with CO, WY, UT, and ND regulatory agencies a plus. Participate and represent Ardor and/or its Clients at stakeholder meetings and regulatory hearings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

College degree in engineering, environmental sciences, geology, or related field required.

5+ years of oil and gas experience with a good understanding of operations as they pertain to job (e.g. O&G drilling, geology, logging, completions, location assessment, county filings, etc.)

Effective understanding of Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota, and Utah governmental well permitting regulations.

Exceptional detail orientation; capable to work independently and/or with a group.

Direct experience with ECMC/Colorado 2/2A/2B/2C, 5/5A, and Form 4, Form 42/44, etc.

Colorado permitting & county/municipality regulations and submittals.

Federal permitting experience desirable, not required.

Ability to confidently interface with regulatory agency personnel in multiple states.

Excellent communication skills and ability to readily interface with diverse personnel including senior management, field personnel, agency personnel, officials, and the public (stakeholders as needed)

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple Clients.

Organized and able to multi-task daily with multiple project and Clients

Willingness to continue your professional development in all aspects of environmental consulting to support Ardor’s services and business growth.

Experience with Microsoft Office products including Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio;
ArcGIS and other databases.

Experience with multiple State regulatory databases desired.

Experience in environmental soil/groundwater remediation,

Experience preparing SPCC, SWMP, Emergency Response Plans

Knowledge of Tier I, SARA Title III recordkeeping & reporting

Preparation of APENS; familiarity with air compliance and regulations in CO, Regulation 7 (LDAR. OGI, Method 22, Method
9)

Maintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets, employees, and the public.

Other daily, weekly, monthly, or special project duties as identified and defined, or other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
