Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $/yr

Seeking an experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures, ensure high‑quality imaging, maintain patient safety and comfort, and support physicians with accurate diagnostic information.

• Perform ultrasound examinations and adjust equipment to capture optimal imaging.
• Use independent judgment to identify normal and abnormal findings.
• Ensure patient comfort, explain procedures, and address questions.
• Maintain accurate records and update electronic health systems.
• Assist with IV insertions for contrast studies when required.
• Manage scheduling, verify authorizations, and prepare exam rooms.
• Follow safety, infection‑control, and regulatory standards.
• Complete additional duties as needed.

• Associate Degree in Applied Science.
• RDMS or ARRT (US) certification required.
• BLS certification.
• 3+ years of sonography experience.
• RVT a plus (training can be provided).
• Strong communication, technical, and patient‑care skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs. May require 8–12‑hour shifts and exposure to clinical environments.
