Key Responsibilities- Manage full‑cycle recruitment for manufacturing roles, including operators, technicians, and engineers.
- Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions within the plant environment.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures compliant with labor laws and manufacturing safety standards.
- Administer performance management programs, talent development, and training initiatives for the production workforce.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including OSHA regulations specific to manufacturing.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, conducting wage surveys relevant to the manufacturing sector.
- Drive employee engagement and retention strategies tailored to the manufacturing workforce.
- Proven HR management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong expertise in employee relations, labor law, and conflict resolution.
- Solid understanding of talent acquisition, workforce planning, and retention strategies specific to manufacturing roles.
- In‑depth knowledge of HR best practices, including compensation, benefits, and performance management.
- Familiarity with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and their application in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Demonstrated experience managing or significantly contributing to workplace safety programs and OSHA compliance.
- Proficiency in a second language relevant to the local workforce (e.g., Spanish).
- Experience with HRIS implementation or optimization, particularly integrating with manufacturing‑specific time & attendance or production systems.
