Yellowstone Retail is looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate employees to provide unforgettable guest service to our visitors in our retail shops. We operate and maintain eleven retail outlets throughout the park. We don't sell souvenirs, we sell memories!

This role involves assisting with the receiving and distribution of goods at a distribution center. This includes loading and unloading shipments, accurately processing merchandise, maintaining an organized warehouse, adhering to safety protocols, assisting with annual inventories, and supporting mail order processing. Additionally, the role requires compliance with environmental management practices and performing other assigned duties as needed.

• Assist with receiving and distribution of goods to and from the distribution center, including the loading and unloading of shipments from different carriers
• Accurately and efficiently receive, price, package and distribute merchandise received in the distribution center; keeping paperwork legible
• Maintain a neat and orderly warehouse
• Practice safe work habits in an industrial type work environment by complying with all safety requirements. Notify a supervisor immediately if an unsafe work condition or practice is observed
• Successfully complete all required safety training
• Assist with annual inventories and any gift shop openings or closings
• Able to help process orders from our mail order department
• Comply with Xanterra’s Environmental Management Systems and look for ways to improve the impact your job has on the environment

• Must acquire a general knowledge of receiving, transferring and distribution procedures pertaining to Retail Department inventory control; able to read and understand vendor packing slips, issue documents and inventory computer print-outs
• Accurately maintain inventory accounting records; consistently follow correct pricing and distribution directions
• Able to correctly and safely use a variety of distribution center tools and equipment items; ticketing and marking tools, knives, carts, hand trucks, ladders, unloading ramps, brooms and calculators
• Able to accept direction and work cooperatively with co-workers
• Work with a minimum amount of supervision; excellent attendance and punctuality
• Demonstrate an awareness for the overall neatness and orderly system of storing merchandise in the distribution center; able to locate product and "pull orders" for distribution to gift shop locations
• Experience with two wheeled hand trucks, pallet jacks, electric pallet lifts, and fork lifts helpful
• Experience with computers and Microsoft Windows helpful

• Able to stand/walk on a concrete surface for a minimum eight-hour shift
• Able to lift and move goods weighing 50 pounds, and up to 100 pounds or more with assistance
• Must be able to frequently bend down or kneel to stock product during a shift
• Must be able to frequently move up and down ladders to put away and pull stock during a shift
