As a Heavy Equipment Operator, Laborer or Lead Operator you will play a vital role in supporting the day‑to‑day maintenance functions that keep the park running smoothly.

Job Summary

The Engineering/Maintenance team is responsible for opening properties prior to guest arrival, maintenance and repair during the season and closing properties at the end of the season. Heavy Equipment Operators (requires Class A CDL) are responsible for operating heavy equipment, snow removal, operating electric and hand tools. Heavy Equipment Laborers do not require Class A CDL and assist the department with all tasks.

Responsibilities Heavy Equipment Operator Lead - $26.75/hour
  • Proficiently operating loaders, skid steer loaders, backhoe loaders, dump trucks, snow blowers, and other equipment common to the trade, including shovels, rakes, tampers, etc.
  • Assists with ensuring quality and professional work is completed.
  • Proficiently operating chainsaws, hand saws, wedges, block & tackle, and other tree falling equipment common to the trade.
  • Responsible for placing concrete and asphalt patching park‑wide.
  • Responsible for replacement and staining of bumper logs park‑wide.
  • Responsible for all domestic utility (water, sewer, electrical) repairs park‑wide.
  • Responsible for correct placement of snow poles for future snow removal.
  • Working safe and complying with all current related codes and regulations.
Heavy Equipment Operator - $22.75/hour
  • Proficiently operating loaders, skid steer loaders, backhoe loaders, dump trucks, snow blowers, and other equipment common to the trade, including shovels, rakes, tampers, etc.
  • Proficiently operating chainsaws, hand saws, wedges, block & tackle, and other tree falling equipment.
  • Responsible for placing concrete and asphalt patching park‑wide.

  • Assists crew with park‑wide bumper log placement and staining as needed.
