The park-wide Electrician is a full-time, year-round position and is based out of Mammoth Hot Springs. This position is responsible for overseeing the proper operation, testing, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems in Xanterra-assigned facilities including industrial, commercial, and residential systems. • Oversee the proper operation, testing, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems in Xanterra-assigned facilities including industrial, commercial, and residential systems.
• Assist with opening/closing of park wide Xanterra facilities to ensure proper procedures are followed and provide on-call assistance as needed.
• Perform, track, and report work associated with corrective and preventive maintenance of structures and equipment, using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and work order logs.
• Use the appropriate tools and materials needed for the completion of work orders in a safe and efficient manner.
• Developeng and provide electrical safety training for seasonal electricians and all maintenance personnel.
• Reviewing capital project electrical designs and construction drawings for code compliance, operability, maintainability, and cost effectiveness.
• Coordinate with location maintenance storekeepers and the Maintenance Purchasing Agent to ensure appropriate inventory levels of electrical parts and supplies are established, maintained, and accurately captured in the company’s CMMS.
• Assist in the development, periodic review and continuous improvement of PM’s and procedures.
• Ensure electrical installations, repairs and replacements accomplished by Xanterra staff or electrical contractors meet applicable electrical codes, NPS compliance, and best practices.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently with limited supervision, and willing to occasionally work overtime and/or nights.
