Job Description – Ranch Caretakers (Couple)
The TA Ranch is a profit-oriented cow-calf ranch that also serves as a recreational retreat for owners who live out of state. We are seeking a professional, service-minded couple to serve as Ranch Caretakers, responsible for maintaining the owners’ homes, buildings, vehicles, ATVs, and grounds to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience during owner and guest visits.
Caretakers should take a proactive approach, completing tasks ahead of owner arrivals and remaining flexible to accommodate requests while owners are on the ranch. The primary use seasons are summer and fall hunting season, which are busy periods and may require working some weekends. At the conclusion of hunting season, all buildings must be closed and winterized, and vehicles and ATVs cleaned and serviced.
Winters are slower-paced, and Caretakers may take extended time off (2-3 months).
Ranch Caretakers report to the Ranch Manager and will also receive directions from the owners as needed. The Ranch Manager is available for guidance, support, and contractor coordination. Detailed responsibilities and expectations will be provided.
