SFS is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team in Wyomissing, PA. This position is ideal for an ambitious individual who will thrive in a fast-paced environment while working in collaboration with our professional, supportive and passionate finance team!
This Staff Accountant role will primarily focus on executing accurate and timely accounting tasks on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Responsibilities
- Support the organization by monitoring and enforcing financial policies, procedures and controls consistent with SFS Group guidelines
- Support monthly, quarterly and year end close, including assigned journal entries, account reconciliations and accruals
- Perform daily cash reconciliations
- Support the administration of the company commercial credit card program
- Perform regular intercompany reconciliations
- Process and remit sales tax
- Participate in the development and monitoring of best practices for payables and receivables
- Participate in the annual budgets and year end financial audits
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required
- Minimum of two years of accounting experience in a manufacturing industry preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with ability to create VLOOKUP's and pivot tables required
- Exceptional ability to work with systems in a digital environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy required
