Heavy Civil Superintentent

Overview

Well-respected, long-standing heavy civil firm has an immediate need for a Superintendent to join their team.

• Oversee all aspects of project construction from initiation to completion
• Serve as the primary liaison between the company and client/customer representatives
• Interpret project scope and effectively read and understand plans, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Provide leadership and clear direction to the project team to ensure successful execution
• Accountable for day-to-day project management and ensuring all services are delivered throughout the project lifecycle
• Plan, coordinate, and participate in project planning sessions, including pre-design and design meetings
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate multidisciplinary design reviews to ensure code compliance and alignment with contract requirements
• Monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with established goals, timelines, and objectives
• Track and manage project expenses to ensure adherence to budget constraints

• Minimum of OSHA 30 certification with a strong commitment to enforcing health and safety standards; company-sponsored ongoing training is encouraged and supported
• Ability to interpret project scopes and read and understand plans, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Preferred experience with heavy equipment operations and functionality
