As a Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will provide mechanical engineering services and technical leadership to clients and customers while supporting and supervising the mechanical engineering team. This role delivers high-quality engineering solutions on time and within budget, supports multidisciplinary projects, and contributes to procurement, construction, commissioning, and proposal activities.
Responsibilities- Deliver mechanical engineering services that meet client, customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead mechanical engineering projects and supervise project requirements as needed.
- Prepare progress reports and participate in relevant project meetings.
- Provide procurement support, including requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and purchase orders.
- Develop proposal content and assist with project cost estimates.
- Act as Mechanical Engineering Lead on assigned projects.
- Communicate effectively with engineering teams, customers, and project stakeholders.
- Support junior mechanical engineering personnel and help resolve technical issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States.
- Extensive mechanical engineering experience in the same or a similar industry.
- Experience in project leadership, multidisciplinary projects, and team environments.
- Strong technical and practical mechanical engineering skills.
- Knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with mechanical engineering software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
- Five or more years of mechanical engineering experience.
