Senior Project Manager - Construction

Overview

EPC Services Company, a leading power/utility engineering consultant and construction firm, has immediate openings for full‑time Senior Project Managers. Remote‑work arrangements are considered based on a candidate’s level of industry experience in Project Management.

The Senior Project Manager is a key resource to general and executive managers, providing insight and counsel on high‑level business management decisions.

Responsibilities include:

• Program management for large clients.
• General project management, project financial management, and bidding.
• Safety oversight, field support, and general administration.
• Training and mentoring of Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
• Occasional travel to monitor and control construction projects.

Reports directly to the Branch Manager, General Manager, Vice President, or President depending on the client and project.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience with complex projects in transmission line or substation construction, or a combination of education and experience in high‑voltage electrical systems.
• Prior experience in electrical design of substations/switchyards a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills; effective written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (basic spreadsheet structure, formatting, conditional formatting, shortcuts, basic formulas, keyboard navigation controls).
• Experience with Vista (Viewpoint) software a plus.
• Ability to pass all company and client‑mandated drug and background checks.
• Occasional travel/driving required; must comply with EPC Services’ auto insurance carrier requirements.
