The Packer is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by packing, boxing, and preparing finished chocolate products for shipment while maintaining quality and food safety standards. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our candy reaches customers looking its best and tasting delicious!
Packer Responsibilities- Place molded chocolate pieces on trays, separate designs, and refill trays as needed.
- Move trays of chocolates to packaging machines and add bulk supplies when needed.
- Form, seal, and stack boxes for shipping or further processing.
- Pack chocolate pieces and candy trays by hand for the next stage of production.
- Place chocolates into foiling molds, watch packaging lines, and prepare finished boxes.
- Set up boxes, pack bulk candy, and get cartons ready for shipping.
- Fill, wrap, and package chocolate bars or hollow pieces into trays or boxes.
- Insert sticks, wrap pops, and pack them for shipping.
- Clean machines and work areas during downtime or at the end of the shift; follow all sanitation and waste procedures.
- Inspect products to make sure they meet quality and food safety standards.
- Previous packing experience preferred.
- At least one year of consistent work history.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new tasks.
- Positive attitude and reliability.
- Strong team player who works well with others.
