A Radiology Tech who excels in this role:
Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Conducts patient education as necessary. Administers contrast agents according to site‑specific protocols.

Applicants should be a graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology/Ultrasound. Additional requirements include:

• Rad Tech I:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
  • ARRT (R) or equivalent certification; or if a new graduate, registry eligible and must sit for registry within 90 days of graduation. If fails examination, must sit again within 90 days from date of last test.
• Rad Tech II:
  • BLS within 30 days from date of hire
  • ARRT(R) or equivalent certification, plus demonstrated competencies in another modality, such as CT, as documented on the job within 45 days of hire.
• Venipuncture skills
• Ability to accept on‑call assignments. Will need to be able to report to the facility within 60 mins.
