The Medical Assistant will perform routine clinical and administrative duties in support of the assigned area or office.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with patient assessments and treatments under the supervision of a physician or nurse.
• Performing basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitoring and communicating changes in patient condition.
• Documenting patient care provided.
• Maintaining equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintaining examination areas.
• Conducting administrative or clerical duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• Certification or completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program, or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
