Supply Chain / Intl. Trade, Business Management, Operations Manager
Relate Search has partnered with a manufacturing organization in their search for a Supply Chain & Inventory Manager to oversee production planning, inventory control, and logistics for a high-revenue site. This role will serve as a critical partner to operations, sales, and business unit leaders, ensuring materials availability, inventory accuracy, and efficient end-to-end supply chain execution. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of hands-on operational expertise and leadership capability, driving consistency, visibility, and continuous improvement across supply chain functions.
This is a high-impact opportunity to own critical processes supporting a complex manufacturing environment with significant inventory and revenue responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Lead production planning and scheduling activities aligned to customer demand, capacity, and business priorities, adjusting plans dynamically as conditions change.
- Own inventory management for high-value inventory, ensuring accuracy, optimal stock levels, obsolescence mitigation, and strong KPI performance.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including domestic and international freight, customs compliance, and coordination of high-value materials and equipment.
- Build, lead, and develop a supply chain team of planners, logistics operators, and supervisors, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Leverage ERP systems (SAP preferred) and data analytics to manage material planning, order releases, inventory performance, and operational decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Proven experience in supply chain, inventory, and logistics management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated success managing high-value inventory and complex material flows in a dynamic, fast-paced operation.
- Strong background in production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
