Assembly Operator

Aid in the fabrication, assembly , and repair of liquid-filled pad mount transformers.

• Skilled with hand tools
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while standing for an extended time
• Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors
• Willing to work in a team environment with a “one team, one goal” mindset

• Read and interpret technical documents wiring schematics and drawings or other verbal or written instructions.
• Build components of standard and engineered-to-order products using hand tools, and torque driver s.
• Perform set-ups, minor troubleshooting, and routine preventative maintenance when required to ensure peak performance of all manufacturing equipment .
• Ensure quality criteria are met by review of documents, consciencesassembly,and proper employment of quality verification checklist .
• Comply with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner .
• Work with other members of the line or group to assemble products.
• Keep a clean and tidy workspace.
• Identify any defective items and handle them according to established quality processes.
• Ab le to solve problems as they arise.
