WCCH ER is a 14‑bed ER with a Fast Track area for up to 8 patients. Certified as a Stroke Ready Facility with The Joint Commission. ER nurse‑to‑patient ratio is 1:4. The ER is staffed with Nurse Techs, Monitor Techs, and RNs.

• Oversee activities of the ER and assigned staff during scheduled shifts
• Provide patient care
• Enhance department workflow
• Lead at the point of care
• Understand, communicate, and react to patient and family needs

Applicants must have a current state RN license (or compact licensure).

• Basic Life Support certification required at hire
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
• Three to five years’ experience as a staff nurse within the ER department
• CEN preferred
• Handle with care within one year of date of hire
• Knowledge of medical terminology required
• Knowledge of Med Host electronic health records strongly preferred
