Retail Sales Associate

Overview

Full-Time Retail Sales position with immediate hire at Walmart (Xenia, OH 45385) for NRG, as part of the 2020 Companies team. The role involves engaging customers, promoting energy services, and meeting sales goals. Training is provided and a first sale bonus is available.

• Work within your local retailer and engage with consumers about NRG electricity and gas
• Welcome customers and offer solutions that meet their needs
• Help customers in the community by lowering energy costs
• Uncover customer desires, overcome objections, and build professional relationships
• Collaborate with team to accomplish goals and celebrate success
• Maintain a clean, organized work station and accurately document sales activity
• Direct customers to displays, assess needs, and suggest appropriate products
• Submit all paperwork completely and accurately
• Respect a no door-to-door, no cold-calling, and no telemarketing policy

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Six months of prior sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality

• Average sales reps earn between $800 - $1,000 weekly
• First sale bonus and uncapped commission
• Base pay with opportunities for raises every 6 months
