A Primary STEAM/STEM specialist is needed at this very high quality bilingual international school in China from August 2026. Part of a larger international school group, this school has excellent facilities and uses the Chinese curriculum blended with international inquiry-based curricular to offer a whole-child holistic education. The school opened to Primary aged pupils in 2019 and the campus has world-class facilities that include a pool, theatre, gym, science and design laboratories and more.
Western teachers and Chinese teachers co-teach in this cooperative learning environment. Because this is a new school, teachers should be confident and willing and able to help with its development. This is a wonderful school and opportunity for teachers who are career-orientated and want to be a part of the launch of one of a high quality, high performing school.
The school takes a holistic approach to every child’s learning and school experience, aiming to develop students intellectually, morally, socially and spiritually. This includes a variety of stimulating, challenging and fun learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom. Teachers must have at least 2-3 years of post-qualification teaching experience in a stable teaching environment. Inquiry-based. EAL and international experience is desired.
