We are seeking an experienced dietary aide to provide support in the dietary department of Yadkin Nursing Care Center.
Job Description- Assist the cook on duty with primarily non‑cooking related duties and provide support in cooking related duties.
- Assist with meal and beverage preparation according to planned menus and established procedures.
- Provide food service to residents and assist with beverage and tray cart service.
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, silverware, and related items.
- Clean, sanitize, sweep, and mop work areas.
- Assist the cook and assistant cook with preparation of meals, drinks, supplements, and snacks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent; age 18 or older.
- Ability to use supplies economically and operate equipment safely.
- Demonstrate a neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
- Ability to read diet cards, speak English, and lift up to 30 pounds.
