With new presidential leadership and a fresh vision for the University, this is an opportunity to become a trusted partner within the President's Office - anticipating what's next, bringing structure to competing priorities, and helping senior leadership move important work forward.

And behind that work is a meaningful mission: educating the next generation of healthcare professionals and expanding access to care in rural and medically underserved communities. If you thrive on staying three steps ahead and want your work to contribute to something bigger, we want to hear from you.

Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences is a mission-driven health sciences university dedicated to educating and training healthcare professionals, with an emphasis on serving rural and medically underserved communities throughout the Northwest. That mission shapes not only the students PNWU educates, but also the collaborative, compassionate, and student-focused culture it strives to create across the University.

This is an especially compelling time to join PNWU. With a new President bringing fresh vision and direction to the institution, the University is entering a new chapter—and the Office of the President will play an important role in translating that vision into action. For an accomplished executive support professional, this is an opportunity to work at the center of university leadership and contribute directly to PNWU's continued evolution and impact.

As Senior Executive Assistant to the President, you will be a trusted partner to the President while also providing executive-level support to the Chief of Staff/Vice President of Operations. Your contribution will likely include:

  • Serve as a trusted administrative partner to the President and Chief of Staff/Vice President of Operations, managing calendars, correspondence, documents, follow-up, and competing priorities.
  • Coordinate complex executive schedules and meetings, including in-person, hybrid, and virtual logistics, agendas, briefing materials, minutes, and action items.
  • Prepare high-level drafts of reports and communications on behalf of the President, conducting research and synthesizing information as needed.
  • Coordinate executive travel, including airfare, lodging, itineraries, and related logistics.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for the Office of the President, creating a welcoming and professional experience for faculty, staff, students, visitors, and external stakeholders.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion while exercising independent judgment about priorities and issues requiring escalation.
  • Facilitate communication between the Office of the President, Vice Presidents, and other senior leaders.
  • Support executive leadership committees, cross-divisional projects, and special initiatives, helping track progress and identify potential barriers or resource needs.
  • Coordinate institutional events involving the President, including logistics, RSVPs, materials, setup, and communication with internal and external partners.
  • Maintain executive tracking systems, mailing lists, contract databases, and relevant University Leadership content on PNWU's website and internal platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Office of the President operations.
  • Help oversee the day-to-day coordination of the President's suite, including front office reception, supplies, and related operational needs.

Experience you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least five years of administrative support experience, preferably within an academic or executive office environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the role.
