KIMA is looking for a Multi-Media Journalist. Your responsibilities as an MMJ will include reporting, shooting, editing news stories, generating story ideas, developing contacts, and other assigned duties. You will be expected to produce daily content on a variety of platforms including the internet, social networking sites, mobile phones, and television.

• Sharp news judgment
• The ability to tell an NPPA style story
• Excellent technical skills
• The ability to work well independently
• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record

• A minimum of 1 year reporting experience is required
• Experience with live shots is required
• Experience with Live-U is a plus

The hourly compensation for this role is $17.60 per hour. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, quarterly and annual incentive plan bonuses, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
