Assistant/Associate/Professor of Pediatric Dentistry, Sea Mar, Tacoma, WA

The Assistant/Associate/Professor of Pediatric Dentistry will provide clinical and classroom instruction in pediatric dentistry to pre-doctoral dental students at our community-based clinics. Academic rank will be awarded based on clinical and academic experience.

• Provides classroom, simulation and clinical instruction in pediatric dentistry
• Performs other related duties as assigned and based on departmental needs

• Education:
  
  DMD/DDS
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 6 years of clinical practice or teaching experience
• Required:
  
  Specialty Certification in pediatric dentistry from a CODA-accredited program
• Required:
  
  Licensure and specialty certification in pediatric dentistry in Washington State
• Preferred:
  Board certification in pediatric dentistry
• Preferred:
  Clinical skills experience

Ability to exhibit strong collaborative skills to employ policies diligently and implement the dental school’s mission and vision; strong organization, interpersonal, and planning skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in a team and flexibility to work with others in a variety of circumstances; ability to problem solve by analyzing issues, creating action plans, and following through resolution
