Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Yakima, WA, for a Pediatrician Site Medical Director. The responsibilities include overseeing clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care, and leading a team of healthcare providers in a primary care setting. The Pediatrician Site Medical Director will engage in direct patient care, mentor clinical staff, contribute to the development of policies, and ensure compliance with medical protocols and standards.
Collaborating with administrative leadership and fostering a patient-centered environment is a key component of the role.
- Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in pediatrics, including experience in diagnosing and managing various pediatric conditions and providing preventive care.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor medical staff and guide clinical teams toward achieving organizational goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, patients, families, and stakeholders.
- Experience in policy development, quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulatory standards.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, problem-solve, and make decisions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Board certification in Pediatrics and a valid medical license to practice in Washington State.
- Experience working in primary care and community health is strongly preferred.
- Commitment to providing equitable, patient-centered care and advancing health care access for underserved populations.
