Facility:
This is a level 3 trauma facility with 238 licensed beds, of which 100-130 are managed by the Adult Hospitalist/Nocturnist team. The hospital provides comprehensive care services to the Yakima community with strong support systems for healthcare providers.

Physician - Nocturnist

Job Details:

• Position for two Adult Nocturnist locums to cover up to 25, 12-hour night shifts per month (between the two providers)
• Shift hours are 7pm - 7am (1900 - 0700)
• Average of 8-14 admissions per night between 2 nocturnists
• Patient encounters per shift: 4-10
• Nocturnists are members of the Rapid Response Team (RRT)
• No code blue responsibilities (managed by ED physician and team)
• No procedures required
• Closed ICU
• Washington license or IMLC required
• Board certification or board eligible required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days (expedited privileges possible with clean history)
• Need is ASAP and ongoing
