Program Lead – Advanced Manufacturing (Data Center Program)
Base pay range: $92,000.00 – $ per year.
Location:
United States (any location). Candidates should be near a Jacobs U.S. office but we consider candidates nationwide.
At Jacobs, we transform innovative ideas into solutions that improve cities, environments, and technology. The Program Lead will oversee and manage a Data Center Program within Advanced Manufacturing, serving as the central point of contact for all projects within the program.
Key Responsibilities- Consult on preliminary bidding and business development and provide input on client and program projects.
- Stay updated on new technology and industry trends to serve clients’ best interests through project workflows.
- Participate in departmental strategic planning for the program.
- Write and estimate proposals for new work within the program.
- Manage and delegate program work to Advanced Manufacturing staff.
- Develop leads and coordinators to understand and execute client‑specific workflows.
- Plan and schedule necessary training for staff.
- Create, manage, and execute Data Center market standard operating procedures and processes.
- Drive cost reductions through innovative application implementations.
- Organize and manage workload hours for each program project, ensuring proper staff allocation.
- Lead digital delivery teams with proven track record.
- Maintain excellent written and verbal communication with Jacobs disciplines, project managers, leadership, and clients.
- Prioritize work using strong time‑management skills.
- Build project teams and mobilize quickly on projects.
- Manage design methodologies, coordinate with IT and Operations SMEs, authorize access and coordinate cross‑departmental efforts.
- Maintain project schedules, validate LOD, capture project information, and create graphics and dashboards.
- Track progress to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Build relationships with clients as a trusted advisor.
- Engage with client Program Leads to discuss workflows and potential optimizations.
- Stay current on market trends and seek process improvements.
- 7+ years of experience in a Digital Delivery role.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting or related discipline.
