Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a Level III Trauma Center. This role involves providing care to a diverse patient population, including neonates to geriatrics, in a busy emergency department setting. The position supports high-acuity patient management and requires flexible availability on various shifts.

• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC.
  
  Education and experience requirements:
  
  0 years minimum experience; must have at least 2 years in a large volume emergency department with high acuity patient care.
• Schedule:
  
  Evenings shifts starting at 3 p.m., 4 p.m., or 5 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include barcode scanning for medication administration, managing medication drips, blood product administration, triage experience (must pass hospitals Triage Test), setting up chest tubes, arterial lines, assisting with trauma and code cases, splinting, BiPAP/Vent management, and maintaining a good understanding of ESI.
• Pediatric emergency medicine experience is highly preferred, and experience with Point of Care Labs is a plus.
• Patient types include neonates to geriatric, with specific attention to stroke, cardiac, behavioral health, and high-acuity pediatric cases.
• The ER is set up in zones, with a fast track component, and uses Epic electronic medical records.
• Shifts are flexible, with no on-call requirement, and weekend rotation occurs every other week.
