People and Culture Manager

A successful People and Culture Manager will have outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, and will oversee the full life cycle of team members. This role regularly consults with the leadership team on strategic planning and serves as an employee advocate between team members at all levels of the organization.

< and Culture Manager oversees and implements Human Resources strategies and policies, managing key functions such as recruitment, training, employee relations, safety and payroll, all while ensuring compliance with labor laws and fostering a productive work environment.

To ensure success, the ideal People and Culture Manager will display strong problem solving and decision‑making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, team management and payroll. The top candidates will be fantastic at managing conflict, effective at planning and coordinating projects and activities with confidence, accuracy, and efficiency. You are a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and time‑management skills.

You will have excellent administrative and technology skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast‑paced bilingual environment.

Responsibilities
  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
    Manage the entire recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to hiring and onboarding, to bring talent into the organization.
  • Policy & Procedure Development:
    Create and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure consistent and fair practices across the organization.
  • Employee Relations:
    Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and mediate disputes to maintain a positive and productive workplace.
  • Performance Management:
    Oversee performance evaluation systems, provide feedback, and support employee development programs.
  • Training & Development:
    Plan and conduct training programs to improve employee skills, foster career growth, and ensure compliance.
  • Compensation & Benefits:
    Administer payroll, manage employee benefits, and ensure compensation strategies are competitive and fair.
  • Compliance & Legal Matters:
    Stay updated on labor laws and regulations, and ensure the organization adheres to all legal requirements and internal policies.
  • Workplace Health and Safety:
    Implementing, maintaining and reporting on workplace health and safety compliance.
  • Strategic Planning:
    Align HR strategies with organizational goals, support workforce planning, and advise leadership on workforce trends and best practices.
  • Employee Engagement:
    Develop and implement strategies to improve employee morale, engagement, and retention.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A minimum of three years of human resource management experience is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with employees and management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
