Join our team as a Registered Nurse at Yakima Medical‑Dental Clinic! Our organization believes in making a difference beyond medical care. We are a leading community health center in the Pacific Northwest with 40+ clinics across Washington and Oregon. We offer a wide range of services including medical, dental, pharmacy, orthodontics, nutritional counseling, autism screening, behavioral health, and holistic support such as shelter assistance, energy counseling, HIV/AIDS counseling, home visits, and mobile clinics.

Position Highlights
  • $39.30–$48.14/hour DOE with ability to increase for experienced candidates
  • Hiring/Retention Bonus Structure:
    • At Hire: $2,100.00
    • At 180 days (6 months): $2,800.00
    • At 12 months: $2,100.00
  • Bonus prorated based on Full Time Equivalency (FTE)
  • Work Schedule:

    Monday–Friday 7:30 am–7:00 pm;
    Saturdays & Holidays 8:45 am–4:00 pm

What You’ll Do
  • Provide comprehensive patient care during visits, documenting in the EMR system
  • Conduct phone triage to assess needs and coordinate follow‑up care
  • Assist with diagnostic procedures and treatments, including IV starts, and educate patients about medications
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans, coordinate referrals, and educate patients on medications and potential side effects
Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing
  • State RN license
  • For RN licenses in an NLC state: submit proof of license, complete suicide prevention training within 1st week of onboarding, obtain WA RN license within 6 months if relocating to Washington, update primary state of residence within 60 days.
  • BCLS certification within 90 days of hire (ACLS & PALS preferred)
Skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred at level 10
  • Training in Early Periodic Screening & Development Testing and Women’s Health Exams preferred
  • Proficient in nursing concepts, medication use, and effects
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively, handling interruptions
  • Professional interaction with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Assessment and response to diverse patient needs across all age groups
  • Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and EMR programs
