Clinical Nurse Specialist, RN Nurse, Neonatal/ NICU Nurse
Our Medical Center is a 214-bed facility located in the state of Washington, provides a full complement of medical services including the only open-heart surgery, advanced imaging, comprehensive robotics, state-of-the-art neurosurgery, and CARF accredited inpatient rehabilitation ranked in the Top 10 percent of the nation. Staffed by approximately 750 full and part-time employees, the hospital offers a wide array of inpatient and outpatient services.
The hospital provides one of only two single stay cardiac units in the State of Washington. Our Medical Center is a Level I Cardiac and Level II Stroke center, with a Level III trauma designation, and a commitment to continuous reinvestment in state-of-the-art technology.
The Education Director supports the hospital’s mission by:
- • Providing appropriate quality education programs to meet the needs of patients and their families, hospital staff members, and the community.
- • Responsible and accountable for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating education care programs for the facility.
- • Demonstrates professional practice through implementation of evidence based practices.
- • Implements programs to improve the delivery of patient care, establishes relationships with professional and/or health related groups in the community, works effectively with others, and makes significant contributions to the nursing profession.
- • Provides, promotes and supports a professional environment that utilizes effective delegation of responsibility. Effectively utilizes lines of authority and lines of communication as depicted on organizational chart.
- • Assists and supports supervisors and Orthopedics Service Line Supervisor in achieving departmental goals.
- • Collaborates with ancillary departments to achieve care goals.

Education:
- • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- • BSN required. Masters in Nursing or health related field preferred.
- Experience:
- • Three to five years’ experience management or staff nurse in which administrative and supervisory ability has been demonstrated is preferred.
- Management
Skills: - • Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills. Management experiences in hospital/healthcare environment. Proven managerial skills.
