American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool position requiring 2+ years of experience and floating across multiple units.

• Float Pool position within a 226-bed non-profit community hospital
• Patient population includes post-surgical, stroke, oncology, CHF, COPD, respiratory, GI, ortho (total joints), and COVID cases
• Adult patients, with possible pediatric assignments for experienced staff
• Rare total care assignments possibly requiring CNA-level duties
• Uses Epic EMR
• 12-hour night shifts, either 7a-7p or 7p-7a
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to 2EW, 2NW, 3EW, 3NW, 5th floor, and ER for Med/Surg holds

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must pass tele exam during compliance process
• PALS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Skilled in chest tubes, trachs, PICC/midline/central lines, foleys, NG tubes, dressing changes, wound vacs, and ostomies
• Experience with central line blood draws required if needed
• Pediatric and psych experience preferred but not required
• No chemo experience required for oncology patients

• First-time travelers will be considered
• Scrubs must be any solid color with no graphics or designs
