Pay Range

Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $26.00/hr.

Future pay will be based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of a 40-unit HUD Section 202 supportive housing community for seniors, ensuring compliance with HUD regulations.
  • Manage tenant relations, leasing, occupancy, rent collections, and coordination of supportive services.
  • Coordinate maintenance and external partners to support resident stability and quality of life.
  • Enforce the CCHS property management policies, community rules, lease terms, and addenda.
  • Achieve property goals and objectives.
  • Comply with Washington state Residential Landlord & Tenant Act and other governmental laws.
  • Report any safety or health hazards to supervisor promptly.
  • Operate within the budgeted guidelines.
  • Ensure all services and work are completed as contracted before approving invoices.
  • Code invoices in accordance with the Chart of Accounts, approve, and submit for payment.
  • Maintain high professional appearance and positive relationships with residents, owners, coworkers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Respond courteously and timely to resident requests; implement resident retention programs.
  • Verify applicant qualifications from waiting list in compliance with funder requirements.
  • Assist in budget preparation and tracking.
  • Show units available, conduct move‑in inspections, complete condition checklists with the Maintenance Technician.
  • Conduct daily inspections of property, common areas, parking, and vacant apartments.
  • Verify and recertify resident income, assets, and deductions per funding requirements.
  • Prepare and distribute financial, leasing, and related reports promptly.
  • Maintain accurate resident, unit, and property records.
  • Collaborate with the Residential Services Coordinator on resident services and property management.
  • Ensure timely rent and other charges paid by tenants.
  • Issue warnings, eviction notices, coordinate repayment plans, and attend tenant hearings.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws; resolve tenant problems and refer residents to service providers.
  • Obtain competitive bids and proposals for work or services necessary for daily operations.
  • Perform work assignments as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications

Non-Physical Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
Experience
  • Prior working experience in property management.
  • Computer, accounting, and clerical skills necessary for position.
  • Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
Special Skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and property management software.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local codes, laws, and regulations sufficient for job duties.
  • Self‑motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Works well with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
  • Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
  • Ability to receive and follow written instructions.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Licensure, Registration, Certification
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license and minimum liability insurance.
  • Must be deemed insurable per Catholic Charities’ liability insurance provider.
Employment Is Conditional Upon
  • Cleared by criminal background check and fingerprinting when required.
Wage Range

$20 - $26 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Work Schedule

Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Must be available for after‑hours emergencies as needed.
