Join our team as a Shortage Control Associate and contribute to a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service. Your role at store entrances, exits, and high-risk areas will help mitigate theft and create a safe shopping environment. You will engage with customers and associates with a confident, friendly, and energetic greeting aligned with company values.

• Monitor store entrances and high-risk areas to reduce opportunities for theft, shoplifting, and other dishonest activities.
• Provide a confident, friendly greeting to customers entering or exiting the store and maintain a professional appearance.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious subjects to the Manager on Duty.
• Support and guide associates on shortage reduction programs and safety practices.
• Communicate information about theft prevention during store rallies and trainings.
• Conduct bag and package checks for store and corporate associates in compliance with safety and security standards.

• Knowledge of shortage areas and theft reduction programs.
• Effective communication with leadership and teams.
• Ability to maintain safety and security standards.

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and visually monitor the store environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to analyze business trends and make disciplined decisions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to foster productive relationships.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with attention to detail.
