Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is required
• Inform guests of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve issues and improve the guest experience
• Thank guests and let them know you’re happy they chose to shop at Target
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Show guests how to use features in the Target App, including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; assist guests with enrollment and use
• Handle returns following store policies; seek guidance from leaders when needed
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area; manage baskets and hangers for removal
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests
• Operate in compliance with safety policies, reporting hazards and correcting where possible
• Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive-Up, and related duties with compliance to applicable laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Accurate checkout operations and basic cash handling as needed
• Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, with typical lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 44 pounds
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance
• Mobility for the duration of a shift
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions as applicable to roles such as Drive-Up
