This is a full‑time, year‑round teaching appointment in the Plumbing Technician program. Working hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:45 AM – 4:45 PM. The position reports to the Plumbing Technician Program Department Head. It is an exempt, regular position.

Jobs are performed in a classroom and lab environment. Duties include lesson planning, lecturing, supervising students in a simulated lab environment, and administrative tasks such as word processing, telephone calls, and email communication.

Salary Range: $70,000 – $75,000 per year. The base wage may increase by 3 % annually based on budget approval.

• Three (3) years of related practical work experience in the subject area(s) taught.
• Valid Journey Level Plumber (01) certificate through the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries.
• Valid Plumbing License for Washington State, used for plumbing projects for Perry Technical Institute.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Effective communication and industry interface skills.
• Requirement to drive on behalf of the Institute, with a working vehicle, valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of insurance.
