The City of Yakima, WA is hiring a temporary, non-civil service Solid Waste Worker to assist in collection operations. You will drive and operate heavy vehicles, assist in loading debris, clean equipment, and maintain logs while meeting DOT and safety requirements.
The position is limited to 866 work hours per year and requires a valid WA driver’s license with CDL in training within nine months. Must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and at least six months of related manual labor
