Wilson Trailer has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician Position. This is an excellent career opportunity with a leader in the truck trailer industry. We have an opening on our night shift working 3:30pm to 3:00am, Monday through Thursday. We offer an attractive starting wage depending on experience along with scheduled increases and a full benefit package. We offer a night shift differential of $1.75 an hour.

Prefer 2-4 years of previous industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

This position has overall responsibility for maintenance of plant equipment. Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance work.

• Perform a safety inspection of hoist chains, forklifts, and all tools used to ensure safety.
• Ability to read and understand prints of machines and other items to be able to identify and fix issues that arise.
• Have an understanding of hydraulics and hydraulic schematics.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance.
• Will need to work day shift or a split shift for a few months until training is complete.
• Will be required to take a written test on knowledge.
• Must be self‑motivated, can work independently or in a team.
• Can fabricate parts if needed by using a mill, lathe and/or welder.

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).

Experience: Must be at least eighteen years of age.
