Full-Time Environmental Services Worker

In this permanent position with Nova Scotia Health, you will report to the Assistant Manager of Facility Support Services. Your primary responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms and public areas, ensuring adherence to safety and ethical standards. You will also engage in floor care, furniture arrangement, and contribute to the overall upkeep of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean all assigned units, including patient rooms

• Perform mopping, dusting, and vacuuming duties

• Scrub, buff, and refinish floors as needed

• Manage movement and arrangement of furniture

• Change curtains and drapes in designated areas

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent experience

• Commitment to safety and ethical practices

• Maintain confidentiality in all tasks

• Reliable vehicle for travel to sites

• Experience with cleaning equipment like scrubbers
