Environmental Services Worker Hospital

Enhance patient and staff safety as an Environmental Services Worker at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. This part-time role focuses on cleanliness and upkeep in assigned settings.

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining hygiene across all hospital units through diligent cleaning practices. Your ability to promote ethical practices and uphold confidentiality will be vital in this atmosphere. This position is ideal for those with a grade 12 education or equivalent who wish to contribute meaningfully.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning in patient rooms and public areas

• Conduct mopping, dusting, and vacuuming duties

• Buff and scrub floors to maintain a clean environment

• Rearrange furniture and update drapes as assigned

• Travel to other sites may be required

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent work experience

• Strong commitment to safety and ethics

• Confidentiality and reliability in your role

• Vehicle access for transportation

• Knowledge of French is advantageous
