Position: Assistant Unit Supervisor - LPN Role
Shape quality resident care as the LPN Assistant Unit Supervisor at The Meadows. You will lead nursing efforts while mentoring care staff in a collaborative healthcare setting.

This leadership position empowers you to provide direct nursing care while supervising CCA, Floor LPN, CCA, and ESS staff. By utilizing your clinical judgment and experience, you will ensure compliance with care plans and promote a positive team culture rooted in Eden Alternative principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of resident needs

• Oversee medication administration and medical treatments

• Collaborate on resident care plans with the interdisciplinary team

• Monitor staff performance and manage behavioral concerns

• Participate in hiring and initial training of care staff

Requirements:

• Active LPN registration with Nova Scotia College of Nursing

• 2 years of practical nursing and leadership experience

• Recent medication administration experience

• CPR and dementia care certification or willingness to obtain

• Knowledge of safety legislation and care philosophies
