Overview

Classroom Assistant – Yate, a mainstream primary school, is recruiting to support classroom learning across Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage
2. This role provides an exciting entry point for recent graduates or an experienced assistant seeking a new challenge. The position is Full-Time, 8:30am – 3:30pm, with a daily rate of £80 – £95.

As a classroom assistant you will work alongside specialist and dedicated teachers to stimulate a dynamic and effective learning environment that enables learners to flourish and increase their potential. You will engage, support and develop the learning of children, assist with the delivery of creative and well-planned lessons and support the learning across the curriculum in core subjects such as Maths and English as well as foundation subjects such as Geography and History.

Previous working experience with children is desirable but not essential. Relevant experience could include mentoring, coaching, tutoring, assisting in a nursery, childcare, or similar experience in a classroom environment. Supporting children with ASD, behavioural issues and learning difficulties would be extremely beneficial for this role.
