Woodlands Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our existing teaching team on a part time, fixed term basis to cover a secondment until 31st August 2027.

While this role is specifically for a KS2 Teacher, we are looking for a versatile professional who is able and willing to work across the whole primary setting.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has teaching experience in EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
• Is flexible, adaptable, and resilient, with a positive "can-do" attitude.
• Has the ability to make learning fun and establish excellent relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
• Is committed to our core values of Inclusion, Collaboration, Success, and Achievement.
• Shares our commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children.

As a Class Teacher, you will:

Plan and teach exciting lessons designed to captivate children and promote high-quality learning. Other responsibilities will include being accountable for the attainment and progress of your pupils, maintaining a safe and stimulating classroom environment, and working proactively in partnership with parents and external agencies. You will also be expected to contribute to the wider life of the school.
