Westerleigh Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off / rotating shifts days and nights We're looking for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to lead and support a team of engineers in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role where you'll drive performance, minimise downtime, and ensure high standards across safety, quality, and engineering delivery.

Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop a team of engineers on shift Provide technical support to resolve and prevent breakdowns Ensure all PPMs, work orders and breakdowns are completed and closed out Work closely with production during start-up and daily operations Maintain high standards of health & safety, hygiene and food safety Ensure accurate system updates (Holistech) for all work completed Deliver shift reports and effective handovers Drive continuous improvement and reduce downtime and costs Maintain audit-ready engineering areas and strong housekeeping standards ?

Essential Criteria Recognised qualification in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering Strong multi-skilled engineering knowledge (electrical & mechanical) Experience leading or supporting a team in a manufacturing environment Good IT skills (Holistech or similar systems) Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results Ability to work shifts and adapt to business needs ?
