As an Automation Controls Engineer, you are responsible for developing controls and electrical system design solutions in line with the latest safety standards and engineering principles for machine systems’ customers. You will be part of the Engineering Technical Team delivering capital end-of-line packaging automation projects from initial planning and build through commissioning within the Yate factory, to installation and sign-off at customer sites.

• PLC programming using Allen Bradley, Siemens or Schneider platforms
• Support installation, testing, and documentation of automation systems
• Collaborate with the technical team to deliver end-to-end packaging automation projects

• Apprentice-trained engineer in electrical
• Experience with PLC systems and automated machinery
• Understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance (PPM) systems
• Experience with safety standards and safety-related control systems
