Assembly Fitter - up to £30,000 per annum plus overtime. Based in South Glos - Permanent position working 7am to 16:30pm (45 hrs per week) Mon to Fri. Benefits include 30 days holiday, Pension, On-site parking, Lunches provided.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an Assembler / Furniture Technician to join our successful client based in Pucklechurch, South Gloucestershire. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working as part of a small warehouse and assembly team, this role will suit someone who has strong practical and mechanical fitting skills, with the ability to use hand tools and power tools.

A full UK driving licence would be ideal, but is not essential.

Duties of the Assembler will involve:

-Picking components to despatch to suppliers

-Processing of Goods In

-Assembling and fitting products to a high standard

-Some prototype and quality work

-Some warehouse duties

-Liaising with customers

The successful Assembler will have previous experience working in an assembly or fitting role - either within a mechanical or production environment. Previous experience of upholstering furniture or similar would be ideal, however this is not essential. You will be able to produce work to a high standard, whilst also working to timescales. Ideally you will have a full driving licence, as there may be some requirement too go to customer sites, but not essential.
