Class 2 Driver

As a Class 2 Driver / Yard Operative at our safety fencing depot in Yate, you will combine local driving duties with hands‑on yard work. This temporary role involves completing collections and deliveries, loading and unloading materials safely, maintaining the depot, and operating plant machinery with training provided.

• Completing local collections and deliveries using a Class 2 vehicle
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Carrying out general yard duties and depot maintenance
• Assisting with stock control and organising materials
• Operating plant and machinery (training provided where required)
• Ensuring the yard is kept safe, clean, and well maintained
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Supporting the wider depot team as needed

• Holds a valid HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence
• Holds a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player
• Has an understanding of health and safety procedures
• Yard, warehouse, or logistics experience (desirable)

• £16.00 per hour
