A standout opportunity has become available for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing facility in Yeadon, Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a time‑served engineer looking to develop their technical expertise and build a long‑term career within a growing manufacturing business.

You will be responsible for mechanical fault‑finding, breakdown response, planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance activities across a range of industrial manufacturing machinery and equipment. The role will involve repairs, installation and commissioning, as well as supporting continuous improvement and minimising production downtime.

• Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with planned, preventative and reactive maintenance in a fast‑paced industrial factory.

• Strong mechanical fault‑finding skills.
• Mechanical engineering qualification or time‑served engineering background.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Experience working within the UK manufacturing sector.
• Experience working with automated machinery, CNC equipment or robotics.
• Experience with PPM, TPM and condition‑monitoring activities.

• Employment with a stable and well‑established organisation.
• Up to £40,000 salary.
• 38‑hour working week on days.
